There are two connectors on the rear, one is used for the infra-red remote pack, the other is a heavily modified DB-15 (NeoGeo stick connector) plug. If you go for it, here's a hint: use the joystick for the games, the directional pad is too sensitive on the diagonal axes. Thinking it was an issue with the controller, I fired up ZSNES. However, when I use my wavebird controller (hooked up to a mayflash pc adapter), the diagonal joystick inputs don't seem to work at all. This stick is also available in white, as a MegaDrive version. Not able to map diagonals on D-Pad in SNES9x 1.57 64-bit Using 8Bitdo SN30 Controller by gone2tokyo Tue 12:08 am Hello As stated in the title, I'm unable to map the inputs for the diagonal directions on the D-Pad of my RBitdo SN30 Bluetooth controller in SNES9x 1.57 64-Bit. It's basically a Playstation 2 controller, it works perfectly with SNES9x and the nice thing is that you can program some of the extraneous buttons to save/defrost states and the like. When I use SNES9x with my xbox one controller, the diagonal joystick inputs seem to work OK. ![]() It also allowed the stick to work with the FM-Towns + Marty systems. There was an adaptor released for the X68000, included with every copy of Street Fighter 2', which allowed the use of this stick, as well as any other MegaDrive/Genesis six-button pad. This attachment was never released in North America, and outside Japan the stick still had a (completely disconnected) battery compartment. There was an infra-red remote attachment for the SuperFamicom (which will work with the CPS Changer) that clipped onto the back of the stick where the console cable would normally go. Originally launched for the Super Famicom and Famicom (It included two cables for both platforms) this stick is also perfectly suited for Capcom's CPS Changer. ![]() Despite the age of the components the stick is a real solid beast, and will put up with a shocking amount of abuse. The design is a radical departure from the standard joystick profile.
